2020
What a crazy year! Obviously with Covid-19 I haven’t been traveling as much/at all this year. I decided to start exploring the outdoors in Georgia and Tennessee more and so far have found lots of beautiful hiking trails and stunning waterfalls!

2019
I've checked off all seven continents and 34 countries so far! This year I've started to do more hiking and enjoying the outdoors. I'm headed to Peru to hike Machu Picchu in September. I hiked my first 14er in Colorado and I'm going to squeeze in one more to prep for the high altitude in Peru!

Hello again! I still can’t believe I managed to see 23 countries last year! I checked off five continents and I have two to go... Australia and Antarctica which I will make it to this year! I decided to do fewer longer trips this year because I couldn’t squeeze Australia and Antarctica into a week like all my trips last year. I also got a new scratch map that has all the countries flags on the bottom (easier to count countries lol).

Hi! I'm Dominique. Thanks for checking out my blog! I'm from a small town in the north Georgia mountains and have always loved to travel to new places... even if it's just a new place I haven't seen yet in Georgia. I did a little traveling around the US, to Mexico and the Caribbean until I went to school in Savannah. I met so many amazing people there (including my bestie Stephanie!) that opened my mind and I started to realize that not everyone lives their lives like I do or has the same beliefs or lack of beliefs that I do. These experiences made me want to travel even more! After graduation, I got a job, bought a car, bought a house in my ideal city... Then I was like 'I've always wanted to travel the world so I might as well do it now because 30 years just slipped right away!' So I got a new job with less hours, bought a scratch map and started a lot of reading and research.

How do I travel the world AND work? I have an awesome schedule that allows me to take off a week each month. Contact me if you're interested in the details lol

To pick the countries I wanted to visit, I literally googled 'cheapest countries in the world to visit' and started picking ones that I thought sounded amazing and also some I've never even thought about. I travel super cheap and you can read about my tips on the tab over!
